!! OMG, RIP: Bonnie Tyler, singer of ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ ed away !!

If you’ve ever stood in a dark kitchen at 1am belting “turn around, bright eyes”, you have Bonnie Tyler to thank! The Welsh gal who turned that gravelly, storm-cloud voice into some of the most gloriously dramatic songs ever recorded, “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” “It’s a Heartache” has ed away.

Bonnie reportedly left this earth in a hospital in Portugal after complications from surgery earlier this year, and the tributes are already pouring in from every corner of the internet.

75 years old, and a catalog that will outlive us all. Somewhere right now a hero is holding out, a heart is eclipsing, and a whole generation is reaching for the volume knob one more time. RIP, Bonnie. 🖤
